Malik told reporters in Jammu, “… I stand by my statements on

… They cannot scare me… Mufti Sayeed has died, and it’s a fact. I have not used the words which they fear… He has betrayed the Muslim community. It is because of Mufti Sayeed that I am in this condition and

Earlier on Wednesday, a scuffle broke out in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly following comments made by Mehraj Malik on Hindus, leading to multiple MLAs being marshalled out by officials.
Reportedly, certain Bhartiya Janata Party MLAs objected to alleged comments made by Mehraj Malik, where he claimed that Hindus wear a ’tilak’ but sin all the time.
Reacting to the comments,

MLA Vikram Randhawa, who witnessed the brawl in the assembly, criticized Malik’s remarks.
He has offended Hindus today; can he act however he pleases? We will object to this as he has disrespected Hindus by accusing them of wearing tilak, committing sins, stealing from others, and consuming alcohol. We will make sure to inform him about the true actions of Hindus.
